Hello, Internet. It’s me again. I know I had a propensity for leading you on in the past, but this time it’s different. This will be my professional website, see? There are excerpts of my manuscripts, and pictures, and I even got my own domain name, all for you.

I know I’ve used you and dumped you before, Internet. And I’m not proud of it. You’ve got every right to still be mad. But I swear I’ve changed! That Yahoo! website when I was ten, full of clipart and bad links? The making-fun-of-the-X-Files site my friends and I had in high school? Those were nothing compared to this. This is the real thing. And I think we’ve got a chance this time, y’know? So let’s put the past behind us and work this out like adults. Whaddaya say?
